1/ Open Forum
R Burdekin had brought defib & box, he went over details of use, he asked that it be placed in a prominent area. Free initial and annual training, maintained by WMAS.
Volunteers were to be advertised for.
DJ again asked for an update on flood issue at Little Minsterley with new development, still no reply, to be pursued.
SL highlighted recent burglaries
P.C. had supplied a report, 4 ASB(non youth) I Crim damage, 1 shoplift, 1 violence, these are all in hand and people identified.

a) Square
Still no info from planning re urinal, notices supplied by police re abuse of bus shelter.

b) Playing field
Bordering hedges need cutting BMX strim? Mike Pugh is to visit site and check. (Act Clerk)

c) Street lights
Parish lights out 67, 74 have been reported to WPD who’s engineer knows of issue.
No 5 & No 45 still out, to be reported again to engineer
Variable speed lights for school are out, and roundabout signs at Leigh Rd roundabout
Highway light last going out of village on Callow Lane heading for Habberley (Act Clerk)

d) Footpaths
J Salisbury has not contacted resident about fouling as promised.

e) Play areas
Vegetation growing through fencing and encroaching on play area at Callow Cres. Could it be strimmed on far side of the fence, Mike Pugh investigating
Swing seat broken replacement part being sourced

6/ Shropshire Council

a) Highways
A488 Minsterley to Hope to be designated 50mph, after discussion was decided that no comments required
Mrs Edwards Little Minsterley has asked that the 30 mph signs be painted on roadway at start of village
The bend in Leigh Rd at Minsterley Park has again been damaged and eroded by water.
Grove to be closed for power and water repairs(Act Clerk)


b) Footpaths
Footpath at Linden fields not complete/blocked,
Longleat footpath issue reported to Sevenside housing
Footpath 57 seems to have developed a hole – reported to R Knight

c) Defib
After discussion to be set at Parish Hall. PH committee to be approached and GB to let Clerk know and he is to proceed with install, also to advertise for volunteers in various outlets.(Act Clerk)

7/ Planning

16/05766/FUL – 2 Pine Cres, convert garage into bedroom – approved

Discussion about prev planning app since removed from SC site to change used to care home?? Possibly care for 6 vulnerable people.
Noted that Bovale properties in village are for sale since insolvency of company, if planning required at old bus depot can it include path along frontage to link village and Linden Fields
Could we ask again for a reply about watercourse maintenance at Linden Fields? MP and M Pate to be approached about lack of response to planning enquires.

Precept of 17500 applied for should be a small decrease in precept per household.

Clerk noted new council in May and councillors should consider what their intentions are and kindly let Clerk or Chair know.
