Local Election Results
Two long standing councillors resigned; Mrs Bronwen Evans after thirty seven years service, serving as Chairman or Vice Chairman and Anthony Bishton; both will be sorely missed.
The new Council members are:
David Leeson, Geoff Rogers, Pat Taylor, Anthony Potter, Andrew Davies, Geoffrey Brown and Jennifer Brown; David Leeson has been elected Chairman and Geoff Rogers Vice Chairman, the positions they held in the previous Council. Geoffrey Brown and Jennifer Brown are new to the role of Local Councillors; they have been very welcome as it is always beneficial to have ‘new blood’ on the Council; they will come with new ideas.
