Budget for 2010 - 2011
It is customary for the council to discuss the budget for the following financial year in November; once it is approved by the council, an application for the precept is sent to Shropshire Council in January.
The Council duly approved the budget at the November meeting; in spite of the annual rise in the cost of electricity for the village lights, the good news is that the precept for the year 2010 - 2011 will remain the same as this financial year, £14,650.
