PRECEPT 2010 - 2011
The Council decide and approve of the annual budget in December each year.
The application of the PRECEPT is based on the approved budget.
The PRECEPT for this next financial year has remained unchanged from last year ie £14,650.
The PRECEPT is paid by SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL in April thus allowing the Council to pay for regular expenses, ie Adminstration, Wages, Lighting Maintenance, Electricity, Grass Cutting, Playground & Playing field Maintenance and general maintenance.
Capital expenditure is not included in the budget;the cost of various projects comes from the application of various grants.
