Following nearly thirty years of deliberations and planning, at last the work on Minsterley Bridge is scheduled to begin in February 2010 and hopefully will finish in August 2010.

It is going to be a considerable upheavel to travellers in spite of the diversions. The floral display in the Square has disappeared and a new display won't appear until next Autumn.

The Calendar shows Parish Council dates of interest, and local events that we would like to inform you about.

If you like just a stroll or a more challenging walk, The Secret Hills Shuttle route can drop you off and pick you up along the Shropshire Way with Offa's Dyke National Trail close by.

Long Mynd & Stiperstones Shuttle run every weekend and Bank Holiday Monday.

FROM SHREWSBURY: The Shuttles depart from Meole Brace Retail Park (opposite Sainsbury's and McDonalds.
BY TRAIN
Church Stretton and Craven Arms are the stops on the regular Manchester to Cardiff train service.
